Hi,
Are you talking about the maps? Means cognos 8 map manager? and you have imported that map in your report studio?

Hi,
The legend on a standard Cognos Map is designed to represent the colour coding displayed on the map. Your colour coding is based on measure ranges (default is green, yellow and red, but the number of colours, the pallette, the thresholds between colours etc can all be customised).
It would not make sense for the legend to show country names, as several countries could be within the same colour threshold for your measure value.
You can turn on tooltips, which will provide a flyout message as you move the mouse pointer over each region of the map, if that helps?
Regards,
MF.
