Anyone has LDAP namespace configuration successful/working in Cognos 8.4.1 64 bit on windows 2008 R2 ?

We have Windows 2008 R2 64-bit, IIS 7.5, Cognos 8.4.1 64 bit install, Fix pack 2, Oracle db as content store.

LDAP namespace (Oracle Internet Directory) configured but does not bring any user from LDAP namespace (Cognos connection -> security -> does not show/list/browse any users from OID LDAP )

(It works in our 32-bit Cognos 8.4.1 on Windows 2003 environment)

Any help is appreciated.

Hi,
we have the same configuration here,
1-if you can connect to the ldap server,
2-have the right bind user and password,
3-validate your connection have the right variable name and definition
you should be OK.

The only problem we have is when we install a typo in one variable name block the user name to be display, after we made the correction everything was find.

What type of objectclass is the user? inetorgperson?
