Title: Error in Cognos Configuration when configuring 8.4.1
Post by: Anke on 20 Sep 2010 06:30:16 AM
  We currently have 8.3, so I was installing into a different directory.  All was well, until in the Congnos configuration - I was setting up the Security Provider Namespaces.  Saved and tested and received the following error:

[ ERROR ] CAM-AAA-0064 The function 'CAM_AAA_JniAuthProvider::Configure' failed.
CAM-AAA-0154 Unable to load the Java authentication provider class 'com.Sun.security.MySecurityProvider'.

After creating the two, I found a note saying , you should create one at a time or else you will corrupt the 'lib' folder.

Anyone familar with this error and how to fix it so I can get this installed!

Thanks!!
Anke

What did you have to do to resolve this?  I am experiencing the same issue.

Our vendor had written install instructions for x64 and x32.  We were installing x32, but there were a couple of steps missing, hence the errors.

Would it be possible to find out what those step were?  I am experiencing the same issue and not sure what I am missing.
