Hi,
I have a cross tab report with product line as rows and product types as columns. The measure is the sales qty. The report has a summary row (say 'S')which shows the total qty for a given product line. In the model, I also have a column which stores an Adjusted Sales Qty for each Product Line. What I want to do is below the Summary Line 'S' I want a row say 'R1' which displays the Adjusted Sales Qty for each product line and then another row say 'R2' which is R1+R2. I am attaching a screenshot of a dummy layout I created in Excel. The rows in green is what I have and the ones in Red, I want to have.(//)
It sounds simple to me but I have tried all kinds of things and it doesn't seem to work. Seems like I just can't insert a row in the cross tab where I can put any calculation of my choice...
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Also, I am attaching a screenshot of the table that the report goes against to make things a bit more clear.
You can do this but it is not very easy in a crosstab. Basically you add a tabular set, 1 side has all your rows now, one tabular model has the added rows with the row name hardcoded(R2,R1) at the proper level.
Search for "crosstab tabular" in these forums I am fairly certain i exlpained it more in detail a month or so back
