Hi All,
Where can i find the best practices realted docs's or pdf's on the following:

1. Powercubes
2. Cognos Catalogs
3. Impromptu Web Reports
4. ETL

This is urgent. Please let me know. If any one of you having related to this can u send the same to [email address removed ]

for Cognos Catalogs

1) put a number next to each folder and folder item in a methodical sequence. For complex catalogs with multiple views on the same tables this will help you identify the origin of each report item and let you reconstruct your report.

2) avoid looped joins

3) disable cross product joins

U can get the information from the pdf's itself and one more site is there for all the list of faqs related problems www.tek-tips.com.it will be very helpful to i (I think)Ã,  :)
If u r reading the pdf file (full) it is enough to solve all the problem and the web site which i have  specified is the additional feather in the cap  where u can get all the information sharing between gr8 minds. :o

CognosFreelancer , that's a very good hint, so easy to implement, I  never thought about it
I m always having trouble to find out from which table the field is coming from. I m checking the SQL and figuring out from where it was picked up.
I give you a star ( oups !  that s in another forum) , so Applause.
