We are looking to customize the Cognos BI 8.4 welcome page and cognos connection to allow effective communication of critical and non-critical notifications to users of reports and cubes.
Does anyone know:
- How to hide the option 'Show this page in the future' from Welcome page .
- How to display a message in Welcome Page, changing the text without restart Cognos Service.
- How to set up a portlet as standard page to replace public folders in cognos connection for all users existing and new
- How to pass parameters from an external source directly to a portlet based Cognos Viewer
