Havent seen this myself but the errors in the attached URL indicate a workspace size issue??

http://www.ibm.com/search/csass/search?q=E%20LE00109%20E&sn=spe&lang=en&filter=collection:stgsysx,dblue,ic,pubs,devrel1&prod=E344215V23741V86

See setting in Tools>Options, Maximum workspace size in kb.

default is 64000 which is small.  Make equal to half your computer RAM, maximum of 512000.  Restart analyst.

Stuart

Stuart is correct.
You need to adjust the RAM but there appears no science to this setting!
I am sure there is a logic to the workspace setting but having spoken to Cognos consultants about this previously I wasnt given a clear answer.
Strangely, sometimes decreasing the workspace fixes the problem but most often it is increasing it. Standard setting should be to roughly half your machines available RAM.

Just another suggestion you may want to also consider a slice update on the cube itself a combination of D-links and Slice update command within a macro it may help performance.
