My database type is Teradata
I was given access only to the views and so I just imported views. But issue is I cannot see the columns in it. And when I try to execute the view Teradata sql asst. it worked. And then I tried passing Pass-thru sql in FM and when I try to test the sample it throws an error as following.

[NCR][ODBC Teradata Driver][Teradata Database] The user does not have SELECT access to PROD_FATS_VW.FATV0101

As the error says, I am guessing the user id you are using to query from Cognos does not have select priveleges. Or else it might be the ODBC driver version issue...
