Title: XML file, prompt page

I am new to cognos. I was trying to update some of the reports with prompt pages. Is it posible to copy and paste some of the XML code to the notepad? so I could change some code or inser new.

Just use Copy to clipboard - Open from Clipboard.

thanks for the help. can you sudject any free sorsers online where i can get more information about cognos reportnet? (creating reports)

Cognos Support page has couple examples in Multimedia Knowledge Base. Try also CRN's own Help System.
