Title: Chart issues in Excel
Post by: anoop_ind2 on 10 Feb 2006 02:35:13 AM
I have a list report and a Chart side by side in a table. I want the report format in Excel. When I run the report the Chart takes up close to 11 columns and also some amount of rows. I have set up the resolution height and width and the chart is less in size. But still it takes up some amount of space in the table cell. Due to this the adjoining text are being displayed far below or far to the right.
Attached is the Go Sales example.  Another Excel based CRN bug??

Several eXcel fixes were put into 1.1 MR1 and 1.1 MR2.  Which version of
CRN are you using?  Also, which eXcel format are you trying to render into,
of the two available?  With more information myself or someone else may
be able to help you

I put an html item before and after the Chart with colspan values etc so that Cognos identifies it as an item inside the table cell and accomodates it. Attached are examples where I have placed two Charts after the List and also a List placed after a Chart.
