Post by: tupac_rd on 15 Jul 2010 08:54:51 AM
Hi Gurus,

FOr a simple list report, can we make all the columns of same width (for eg. 75 px) when we run the report in Excel.... HTML & PDF works fine, but I could not get to work in Excel.... Please let me know if there is a way out..

THanks
2pac

Yes, you can. What's the problem doing it? It will be applied to all outputs, not just Excel.

If you want to do it only for Excel, create a Prompt asking the output type, if Excel is chosen, then use that list which has fixed width applied for 75px otherwise use another list.

By the way, setting width property for columns doesn't always work. If you unlock the object and then set the width, that works perfectly.
