ReportNet does this to improve performance time of the report. If it were required to calculate the last page number then the entire report would need to be processed. However, it simply displays the last 20 rows (quickly).

Hi
thanks for such a fantastic work.
Sorry for late reply as on Friday server was not working and after that weekend so I was not able to implement what u have suggested.
So when I was implementing this solution I got following error while dragging
page_Sum query item to Facts area.
It gives me this error. I am using DB2 as backend.

QE-DEF-0177 An error occurred while performing operation 'sqlPrepareWithOptions' status='-9'. UDA-SQL-0107 A general exception has occurred during the operation "prepare". [IBM][CLI Driver][DB2/NT] SQL0440NÃ,  No authorized routine named "MOD" of type "FUNCTION" having compatible arguments was found.Ã,  SQLSTATE=42884

So I am unable to proceed further.

Hi Srik,

Sorry for the delay, I was in vacation.

What is your problem? If you canÃ,´t play the file because of an "Unknown Codec", please go to the Techsmith Website and download the Codec. The Link http://www.techsmith.com/download/codecsdefault.asp.
Be sure you have download part1 AND part2.

Modify.

Oh sh... the files are no longer available I get an 404 Error. I dont know why. Okay, please stay tuned I will upload the files again.

Hi Cognos-Talk,

I implemented this solution under Teradat, MS SQL 2000 and Oracle 9i and it works perfect. I dont know what the Problem under DB2 is. Is there a function called "Mod" under DB2? Sorry
