HI All,
We are getting this Analysis studio report error in cognos 8.4,User's are trying to create a adhoc report in Analysis studio (data source SSAS cube) they are getting "Memory Allocation failed " error.

When they are doing Supression on Columns and rows they are getting this error.

MSC Error-0008 the data provider returned an error message "Memory error allocation " failure not enough storage is available to process this command.

Please provide me some inputs ASAP.

Do you have enough RAM in your server ?

Do you have many concurent connection on the same cube at the same time ?

Have you set temp memory in your datasource ?

Have you increased in cognos configuration the memory for your config ? (768 by default, 1024 recommended, max 1548 i think) ?

Is it possible that you have faulty memory in your server ?

This Kb may also help if you get CCLOutOfMemoryError sometimes : http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315407/
