Reg: Cognos decision stream move to new server location

Hi All,

Cognos decision stream was  installed and having some developed  jobs   in one windows server locations , we need to move all the existing content  present in cognos decision stream  to the new windows server location.

Can any one help me how to move cognos decision stream content  or if you have any related  document  please sent across to me.

Hi,

All the content is stored in a catalog within a relational database.  In theory all you should need to do is to install DecisionStream on the new server, make sure all the relevant database clients are also installed (to allow you to connect to the catalog, source and target databases), and you should be good to go.

If you have any SQLText sources, you will also need to move across the DEF files which define these, and if the text data files themselves are local, these will need to be moved across too, and the DEF files edited to point to the new location for the text data.
