About Drill through

Hi friends,

            Can we drill through between different studios, if so, from which studio to which studio we can use drill through.

Hi Ramki,

  we can drill thru to any studio through cognos connection.we have drill through option in cognos and some goto jus check it in cognos connection you can find i am not remebering it clearly so go thru cognos connection you can get it

Hi,

You can drill from reports created in Query Studio, Analysis Studio, PowerPlay Studio and Report Studio to anything that runs in the Cognos Viewer or to any target page the web server can access.

There are some limitations to when values can be passed, however.  For example, if you drill from a report written against one vendor's cube to a report written against another vendor's cube, the MUN values will be different, so parameters will not tie up.

The drill-through definitions can either be defined from Cognos Connection (Launch -> Drill Through Definitions) for use in any studio, and/or they an be explicitly defined in Report Studio reports.
