Hello All,

Urgent: I deleted a prompt button from a report and ran the report and it still shows up on report.

Called Cognos Support, and he had me copy the report to clipboard after deleting button and then opened the report from clipboard and ran that separate from the rest of the reports. It was deleted successfully.
However, when I use the reports as intended which is the first drill thru from another report, the button will show up on report and it's NOT deleted.  :-\
I have checked my FM->Edit Govenors and cleared the Local Cache. I have also made sure my queries in db from dba aren't set to any local caching.

Any ideas? thanks if you do..

For those interested:
Went through the xml and sure enough there static values of that text item and prompt button. I am going to delete it from xml and see if it works once I reload into RS.

I had something similar happen on drill throughs...if you make change to a child report, make sure you save before running or the changes will not show on the report run.
