How to deny access to certain column from catalog table for particular user?

Is it possible to deny access to one Database Column from Catalog table and run the report?
I am able to deny access to the column but
When the report run, getting an error: **** ERROR ****
Using the Governor denied Database Column [GR_AMT].

i am using Impromptu 7.4 (SQL Server 2005), Please advise. Thanks
