I am new and want to learn cognos.

Please guide me can I choose cognos as my career.

I am not IT professtional but I am working on Access , creating quries, reports and forms for last 5 years. Somebody told me you can switch to Cognos.

I live in toronto and cost of learning too much. Is there any possbility I can learn online without going to institute or school. I went through some introduction course but I dont have cognos software to practice. where can I get this software ?
