How do you assign specific colors to each bar in a bar chart conditional on the data for the X axis.Ã,  For example, I have a district prompt in the report.Ã,  District numbers are on the X axis.Ã,  The requirement is district 1 must always haveÃ,  a green bar, district 2 must have a blue bar, and so on.

thx

Have you tried the suggestion here?Ã,  http://cognoise.com/community/index.php?topic=634.0
Sorry - didn't read carefully the first time that the districts that appear are variable.

Hi its possible only when u DONT HAVE CONDITIONAL STYLES .
in other case u can go for a pallete and add colors..

Cognos Support's response is below:

I have picked up case #3301761.  At present it is not possible to change the color in a chart based on a value in the database or in the query.  This functionality has been logged as an enhancement request under reference #476745.

I will be parking this case against this enhancement so that the relative priority will be raised, and so that you will be notified if this functionality becomes available in a future version of the product.
