I had to change the name of my Datasource and now I am not able to publish to Cognos Connection.  I have updated the name in my Datasource (Connection) as well.

I am getting this error:

BmtActionsHelper.cpp(475): CCLAssertError:CCL_RETHROW:

any help would be appreciated

Does the user ID you logged in as when opening the FM project have write permissions to wherever you are publishing the package to in the content store?

We have not turned on security yet so we are still using anonymous.

OK - so does the Anonymous user defined in the Cognos namespace have write permissions to wherever you are trying to publish the package to?  Or is everyone still part of the System Administrators role? (in which case this is a moot point)

Something else you could try - if you rename the package in FM, will it then publish OK?

It does have permissions to write.  I deleted the package and re-created it and still it blows up.

Hi,

What kind of data source does the package use (SQL Server/Oracle/DB2 etc)?  You indicated originally that you had changed the name of the data source - do you mean the name within FM, or the Content Manager data source name, or both?  Other things to verify - what settings are configured for the Catalog and Schema properties of the data source in FM?  Also check the Query Type and Interface properties within the Type grouping.

I changed the name in both.  I checked the settings for the catalog and schema properties.

is there any other place that would maybe have the name?
