Cognos 7.3 Proper backup plan

Hi,

Like to know how others are backig up the cognos 7.3 environment.

- Backup metada databases
- Backup Cognos Connection folders
- user directory (store all user /password)

- What else need to backup to recove in a desaster situaction? If have to built every thing from scratch.

Hi,

Back up the Content Store database, the Configuration folder (on disk) and any customised skins (if you have them).

Also, if you are saving report outputs to disk, make sure the relevant folders are backed up for these too.
