looking for cognos consultant for 3 month project

Responsibilities:
Design and develop Cognos 8 Framework Manager Models, Cubes, reports and dashboard

Identify any data model improvements to enhance usability and performance

Provide solution of performance tuning and optimization efforts related to system scalability as users access a solution and data volume increases

Perform dimensional modeling and reporting

Review of schema, hierarchies, models and cubes to maximize usability and business relevance

Analyze issues and make recommendations on how to improve performance

Performing analysis to investigate and troubleshoot data inconsistencies and data integrity issues when necessary

Installs, configures, deploys, and tunes Business Intelligence tools and environment

Create documentations

Experience Required:
Experience with Business Intelligence & Data Warehousing concepts and design principles

Over 5 years of experience in the field of Business Intelligence , Data Warehousing and design principles.

Over 5 years of experience in Cognos 7 and Cognos8.x (including 8.1 & 8.4) with Analysis Studio, Report Studio, Query Studio, FrameWork Manager, Dashboard, Go Mobile Dashboard, Server installation, Server configuration and Server administration.

5 yrs SQL server SSIS/ETL experience.

Experience with dimensional, logical and physical data modeling for data warehouse/data marts

Experience delivering data warehouse solutions including SSIS/data extraction (ETL), reporting and ad hoc analysis tools

Skills:

Knowledge of BI architectures, relational and dimensional data modeling

Strong knowledge of SQL server 2000/2005 and Syntax

Necessary to have experience with Cognos Transformer,Analysis Studio,Go Mobile Application and FrameWork Manager

BS or MS in Computer Science or related field,or equivalent experience
