SQL Server Analysis Services and FM

Has anyone had any luck using SQL Server Analysis Services 2005 with Cognos FM, Analysis Studio, and/or Report Studio. I gave it a go for a few days but ran into performance problems and the lack of being able to doin anything in the model such as create filters.

Wondering if anyone has done this before and if it's worth my time.

Hi,

MSAS is treated by Cognos 8 as an OLAP source, which means you cannot do any modelling in Framework Manager.  You can define dimensional filters within MSAS based on users or groups, though, and C8 can take advantage of these.
