Bursting question

Hello,

I have a "bursting" question:

If the report is set to burst to 100 users, so that the 100 users are able to see the report through
Cognos Connection on a specific same folder.

Does it means that the report executes only once for the 100 users and so that the query is executing only once.
Or is it that query is executing 100 times ??

I whant to know if there are performance issues when using bursting for 100 users.

Thanks !

If you are just bursting to 100 users, you have 1 report with access for 100 users.
If your burst-table has fields which you are using for filtering inside the report you might end up with up to 100 reports.

btw...
I figured that it is not a good idea to burst to users direct. It's much better to burst to groups, even if the group has only one user.
Reason: You probably save X issues of a daily/weekly/monthly report. User-A get's replaced by User-B. Now User-B doesn't have access to the old reports.
If you just switch users inside a group, "new" users still have access to older reports.
Just my 2 cents
