Issue with Cognos Groups/Roles

I have a new deployment with 8.3 that we are using the new Express Author role. I have configured an Active Directory group and added a person as a member. I have associated the AD group with a Cognos group and added that group to the role Express Author. I have granted Express Author execute and traverse permissions on all of the secured functions (Query Studio, Report Studio and Analysis Studio). The user does not see any of the Studios using the launch menu... Anybody else have issues using the Express Author role?

ok... forget all of that. Before I wrote this post I asked the user to close all IE browsers and then get back in. He just got back to me and he is all good. Thankfully as I was losing my mind... ;D
