Dynamically generating list column titles

Hi all,

Has anybody got idea about how to generate list column title from a table, i have created list with 100 column, i want the list column titles to be generated from a table instead of manually changing the list column text every time.

the best way would be rename all ur column in the table to the respective column headings in the FM model. Then just pull the columns.

Vsud, Can you explain in more detail what you're trying to do?  I'm not understanding the requirements.  Did Srik's solution solve the problem?  Thanks.

Without renaming column in FM model, can i do it in report studio by changing data item name in list colum properties. Even if it looks like changed in report studio, when i run report , output it showing old meta data name only( for eg: for "emp_id" i am giving "emploee id", but it reflecting the same emp_id in output)

any solutions?

[MFGF]

Unlock the structure of the report (press the padlock button), then select the text item in each column heading and change the text.  This should work.
