Integration of cognos with other portals

Hi,
  I am in process of integrating cognos8 portal into some third party portal.
  Can any one suggest me how can  i  do it ?
  I was trying to do in my laptop and it was standalone.can i able to achieve it?let me know?

  I saw queryvision a third party tool to integrate cognos 8 with sharepoint portal,can i know how can i achieve it with out using query vision tools.

  I want to know how can i integrate with all the web portals,is it a same way for all portal integration let me know the step by step.
