Hi All,

I wanted to get confirmation regarding "drill through" from a PowerPlay Cube (presented in Analysis Studio) to a relational based report (Report Studio)

1) Create a "package" that contains both my relational model and a pointer to the PowerPlay Cube

2) Create my relational report in report studio that has optional parameters that will need to satisfy every single level of every single hierarchy of every single dimension in the cube.

3) Create a "drill through definition" that maps every single level of every single hierarchy of every single dimension to the associated parameters in my relational report.

...and am I correct in my discovery that "Relative Time Categories" are going to be a little tricky.

cheers,
david.

Hey David,

You'll have a package for the Cube and you'll have another package for the relational based report,  I've never used a "pointer".  The drill-thru definition defined in the Cube package works just fine for that.  The rest of your steps look dandy!  Good luck.

ah...good catch.

....I though misinterpreted "package drill through" to mean everything had to be in the same package.

thanks for that!

cheers,
david.
