Report recalculating values for graph

Whats up everyone,
I have a crosstab report with a corresponding graph right under it. It works well but depending on what prompts were chosen, the crosstab can become quite large and take up the whole page.

Thats fine but when I page down to see the graph, the report starts recalculating the data needed to build the graph. As you can tell, if the dataset was large to begin with and it took a long time, I cannot have it redo the calculation.

So does anyone know a way to make sure that the query makes all the necessary calculations no matter how the page breaks will be set up? I realize this is kind of an abstract question but I would appreciate some good answers.

Thanks a lot.

Hi,

Just put your Crosstab and Chart in Page header and hide the "Page Body" then your report will load in one page, you dont have to page down and all...

Thanks,
Gollapudi.
