i have 4 answers for ur 3 questions...

  1. I am still in the creation of the report..(it's in query studio)
  2.  Revenue is not the column in the database
  3.  I am not angry
  4.  I tried out many user names it was already there..so finally created this id.

BIsrik

i feel calculations are the only means to achieve this at the query studio level...

Thanks for ur replies..

Is it possible in report studio if not where else...

can we do something with framework manager?

BIsrik

but u said it has to be a custom one...In FM again u can create a calculated column in the QS and display to user as a QI..but how will it satisfy ur "Custom" Requirement...

It would be helpfuld to understand what it is that you want to do with this custom column.  Are you just wanting to rename a column, are you looking for it to be calculated from other fields, or is it something you just want to leave as a blank column in your report?  BTW--don't feel bad about being angry.

hi,
I said custom on the lighter sense...it's right that if u go for FM also it won't be "Custom" Requirement..
I would rather leave as a blank column in my report..So how to go abt this ?

Cognostradamus

As best as I can tell, there is no method within Query Studio itself to create a null column.  I'm certain that you could create a column in Framework Manager that displayed no value.  Would that satisfy your requirement?
