How to find out 10 pages with in 1000 pages report

i am new to reportnet and i am having problem i didnot find out 10 pages with in 1000 pages how is it  possible plz let me know.

r u using html format for the report. if yes i doubt this could be possible bcause reportnet executes one page at a time in html format. when u click page down the next page is then executed.

well anyhow i am also trying on the same.

How are you identifying the pages you are trying to find?Ã,  Are there any rules you could use to build in bookmarks, for example?Ã,  Sorry to be vague, but it's difficult to help unless I undertand exactly what you are trying to do.

    what is my problem  u all didnot get ,i know page up and  page down options but what i am try to tell all, if we are run in PDF then getting 100 pages report.so in that 100 pages i want to antother report only 10 pages, i dont want to all pages .

I'm still not sure what your requirement is - are you trying to filter? burst? what?

Are you getting 100 pages when you should be getting 10? Or do you want to break up the 100 pages into 10 separate reports of 10 pages each? Or do you want to drill through to a different report from your first blunderbuss?

malyadri reddy, as i previously told u this is problem with the reportnet software itself. U can't even format ur report with pagenumber of pagecount when u r viewing this in html format. With pdf it works fine.

the answer i got from cognos was: when u execute a report in html format the RN server doesn't executes all the records of the report. Every time u press page down the RN server executes the request. Where as in PDF it executes all the records and then opens it in the pdf file. So u can see all the 1000 pages. if u wish to go to 100th page u can do there.

At present i am also working on the same issue. if u find any soln please share with us.

   sorry for the distrubing u all, still i have same problem. ok i am telling detail
  suppose when we fire any query or drag and drop the subject item in reporting area then we will run the report, not a importance of the format , then we will get report of 100 pages. after wards i want to run again same query but i want to filter only 10 pages out of 100 pages.

                      plz help me out abt the query to be run to get the above result

firstly what do u mean  filter only 10 pages out of 100 pages and Secondly what is that filter condition.
