Hi all,

I have 'value prompt ' in my report and it needs to have a default value when the report is loaded first time. I have a column called 'current week' which displays current week (a seperate dimension in cube). But the data item source of this prompt is another column in cube which contains all weeks in a year.

Please help me to initiate a value at the prompt and load the report content with those values at the first time when the report is loaded and provide a prompt option to the user after that.

Thanks

Gollapudi

Hi,

You will have a option to set the default value of a value prompt in its properties, but in case of cube you just will have to give the entair path of the member instead of text.
For example "[great_outdoors_company].[Products].[Products].[Product line]->:[PC].[@MEMBER].[1]" instead of 'Camping Equipment'

Thanks,
Gollapudi.

Thanks a lot. I have tried this and have not worked at the first time.
