I hope someone could help me because I've got a lot of problems with Data Manager.

1-The first is when I create a new Job (dimension or fact) and I try to run it, Data Manager open a command windows like this:

The error is DS-PARSE-E002: Catalog Definition 'C:\................'
When I press enter, nothing append.

2- The second one is when I close the Data Manager and I open again the catalog, there is a big error. This error is captured in this screenshot:

¿Somebody could help me?
Thanks

few questions regarding the first query
1. Can you try to check wether the connections are running or not
2. are you able to create a build and run
if not both of the above, check both.

for the second query. It looks like your connection aliase to the data base is not correct, also check the username and password

Hello UseCog,

Thanks for your responses.

The first query:
- The connections works OK.
- What is a "Build and run"? (I use Data manager 8.2)

The Second Query:
All my aliases are correct. Could it be a problem with the encoding used in my computer or Database? For example: UTF-8, ISO, etc.

A Build may be a fact build or dimension build, which used to create a fact or dimension table.

unfortunately i am not using oracle as a source for the data manager now and I cant test this. sorry for that

Best regards,
UG
