Cognos 8 Printer Issue

Cognos Gurus...

I am trying to configure printer and getting an error message...
RSV-DST-0009 The print process returned a status code of 8...

Looked into the Cognos KB and already made sure the cognos service is running using the domain account and the printer has also been added on the server using the domain account. I was able to print a document on the server to the specific printer I added. If this helps, I do not have Adobe installed on the Server. I read somewhere that Adobe 7 or something solved someone's issue. Not sure why I need Adobe if I want to print HTML. Also have tried both \\Hostname\Printer and \\Hostname.domainname.com\Printer while adding the printer on cognos connection portal. I am using 8.3 SP2. Any help will be greatly appreciated!! Thanks a lot in advance!!!!

I think I got the solution...Need to have Adobe and then print as pdf works. Thanks folks!

oh yes , you have the solution there. Printing something in C8 always converts to PDF first. ;D
