Hi all,

please help me...

I am not able to create a cascading prompt to use values from one prompt to filter values in another prompt.
I have followed the instructions reported in the User Guide but it doesnt work.

I created the 2 prompts and I set the cascading source parameter properly in the cascading prompt but nothing.

All that I get it is that the first prompt (source) works, the second one is 'ghost'.

Please gimme a tip.

Have a great day and I hope to help u too one day.

Make the first prompt to Auto Submit = yes in the properties.

morphy

I did.

But It doesnt work either.

Is there any other parameters to set?

At the moment I just setted 'Auto submit' to Yes in the primary prompt and
and I inserted the name of the Primary prompt in the secondary prompt.

Is it all?

Many thanks.

@Morphy - No other parameters required to be set. Just "Autosubmit" should be set to YES as said by Suraj.

There must be some problem with ur data then. There must be no child entries for the parent entry in the prompt . . . Check ur cascading prompts on some other query items if its working fine then its deftlny prob with the data.
