Ã,  Ã, i have restated the report net services then it is giving the following error


Cognos ReportNet
Ã,  An error has occurred.
Ã,  Ã,  Ã,  DPR-ERR-2058 The dispatcher cannot service the request at this time. The dispatcher is still initializing. Contact your administrator if this problem persists.
Ã,  Ã,  Ã,  Please try again or contact your administrator. can u pls tell me wht i have to do now

ensure that there are no connectivity issues regarding the content manager database.

I usually see this error when reportnet has started, then after it has been started the content manager database has been brought down.

Hi Murali,

Can u please give your oprating environenment. If it is Windows check if the "BIBustkServer" process is running or not (in the task manager window). If it is not running then the problem might be with the Content store configuration. Re configure the Content store, save the configuraton and restart the CRN.

Also check the log file for any errors.

Not only the info about the operation system is usefull, also the used RDMBS for the CMS..... If it's oracle make sure you have completed the JDBC driver installation (Classes12.zip stuff) as described in the installation manual.....

i am able to resolve the problem. i have typed the database name incorrcetly now i have changed it and now my reportnet  is working fine.
