Modeling Regular Dimension in Frame work Manager

Hi

I have one fact and another Dimension

Fact as Transaction  Dimension as Calendar

In Transaction Fact i have columns as

Transaction_date_Key,Effective_date_key,system_date_Key

Dimension Calendar columns as

Year,Quarter,month, date, calendar_key

Now there is no join or relationship between these columns..

Now in cognos i wanna create regular dimension in framework manager

columns as

Year from calendar dimension

Month from  calendar dimension

quarter from calendar dimension

Date from calendar dimension

Transaction_Date_Key from Transaction_Fact

Obviously when we dont have join condition b/w Fact & dimension ,it will not work, Is there any way that i can design a regular dimension in FM..
