Automatic Cube Refresh???

Greetings All!

I have a stupid question....

We have several cubes that we have been nursing on a MS Windows 2003 server sandbox and refreshing them per the requests of our business users.

Now that the cubes are so popular, users want the cubes to be refreshed on a nightly basis.

I want to refresh my cubes overnight. Is there a way to do that? We are running Cognos 8.3 and I don't see a way to do it from the scheduler in Cognos Administration.

Can someone please help? It is urgent.

You can update and swap your cubes from the command line, and thus with a batch job you can schedule in windows. There are several posts on Cognoise with examples. Perform a search on swap cube, build cube etc. Also look at the step-by-step transformer help file (although i don't know if that one still exists in 8.3).
