Loading Filter Values from a File

I'm looking for any ideas for loading a list of values into a filter in query studio.

Ideally (Wish List) when you choose your field to be filtered, one of the options, in the filter pane, would be load values from a local flat file or csv.

I've though about putting an empty table out on a share that using an ODBC to connect to that via FM then join the field in FM to the fields or fields that need to be filtered. This, however, takes alot of training and i foresee a great deal of confusion and service tickets opened on the users side.

If anyone has a slick way, perhaps even a jscript hack for that prompt page I
'd be all ears!

I've looked at drill through definitions which would be great except that your limited to selecting only the values in view.
