Hi All,

I am having Email addresses as data item in List.ON running the report in PDF, the email address is clickable(i.e., on placing the pointer on output email data, it shows mailto option and upon clicking opens outlook).Any help is appreciated to disable this option....

Thanks,

SANJU.....

There's got to be a better way, but in ReportNet this works: break the address apart so you have 2 items, for example 'name@' and 'company.com' (the '@' needs to go with the prefix, not the suffix).  Put them in separate columns and format (remove padding and borders between them) so they appear to be a single element.

This appears to be an Acrobat feature, since breaking the address up and displaying the 2 pieces adjacent to one another in the same column isn't sufficient.  You can do it with a hidden text item (box type None) between them, but when I tried this they wrapped to 2 lines and I was unable to format them into 1.  Maybe this behavior is different in C8.

Thanks for your input, I have tried it by dropping the email data item into hyper link, which though shows the cursor(pointer) as hand but it won't let the data item to be click able.
