Development process in Reportnet

Hi,

Anybody can guide me the process involved in developing,testing,maintaining reports using Cognos Reportnet.

Usually Development and testing takes place at the Testing DB and once this is through the reports or the design is put into prodn..

Hi vsudaya

I will give you the process we followed.
Develoment:
Design the model and publish the package in FW(Framework Manager)
Use the package to create the the canned reports in Report Studio.
Create the schedule to generate the reports (PDF, HTMl etc) as per the requirements.

Testing:
Check the reports against the requirements, data format, aggregation levels, UI etc.
Check the delivery schedules, report delivery mechanisms (Email or placing the reports in FTP server etc) and delivery formats (PDF, HTMl etc)
