Replace a number with multiple dots stored in the database without dots

Hi All,
Is there a way where a number that is stored in the database with multiple dots to display the same without any dots in Cognos report studio?

example-> 084.443.222.9-006.000 to be displayed as 0844432229006000

Please assist.

At the risk of sounding rude...

First, it looks like you don't want to remove only periods, but also the hyphen.

Second, what you are asking is extremely basic.

Doing your work for you won't help anyone.  Not the person providing the answer, not your boss, but mostly not you.  You need to take a basic SQL tutorial.
