Cannot run new reports after installation and configuration of Cognos 11.2

Hi,

We have a new Cognos instance of 11.2.4 version set up and running. I just found that I can only run the existing reports but cannot run newly created reports. When I create a new report by using the New -> Create -> report option and try out a simple list report with a few query items, it keeps on running but does not throw output. Also found that I cannot run tabular data (the same thing happens) of any of the existing report queries.

Please suggest how I can get this resolved.
