Printing from Multi-page Dashboard

I have a multi-page dashboard that consists of six different reports on six different tabs.  Each of these reports has dynamic prompting elements.  I have a request from several users that would like the ability to print the output from the current page of the multi-page dashboard with the prompts they have selected.  In normal dashboards, a user could just click the maximize button in the upper right corner of the screen, then select the output type and print.  In the multi-page dashboard, if the maximize button is clicked, it simply moved the top of the entire multi-page dashboard to the top of the screen, hiding the top toolbar (Home, Launch, etc.), but the format functionality does not show up.

Does anyone know of a way to print from a multi-page report using output formats?  In particular, the users would like the ability to output the tab to an Excel format.

Still searching for solutions to this problem.  If anyone has encountered this, please post if a solution exists.

Off topic question in the hope that you may be able to answer a question that I have. Your using the multipage portlet to generate your dashboard? could I ask what version of Cognos you are using and what browser version you are using.

I'm having lots of problems with the dashboard portlet and IE7 when its being used as an externally facing webpage.

My production and development systems are on 8.2, and I have a QA environment on 8.4 testing for an upgrade of all other environments in about a month.

We've had success using multipage portlets on multiple versions of IE and Firefox.

Hi,

bfmooz, there is a solution but it adds an extra layer. Put your reports into a "Regular" Portal Page using the Cognos Viewer, then add these "Regular" Portal Pages to the Multipage Portlet.

This will give you all the functionality you're looking for....
