Hi,
I have a page P, the data used in it is from Query C.
Query C is a join of Query A and B. Works fine.
Now I want to expand this page with some extra columns, so I join Query C with Query D.
Query D has now all the data I need on page P.
Page P has a quite complex layout (coloring, etc) and is large (many columns).
How can I easily add the columns from Query D into the existing Page P?
Kind regargds.
Thanks in advance.

I would use a slightly different approach. Join your data from D into the mix with either queries A or B, then the final query (that feeds the report objects on your page) will remain as C, and there will be no re-work of what you have already created on the page.

Thanks for your suggestion, I tried a while ago, but didn't work, but maybe I didn't do it the right way.
After the holidays I will try this again.
Kind regards

Hi,
I've tried your suggestion, but by doing that, the queries are renamed, by me or by Cognos.
I didn't succeed in keeping the query name C intact....
Is there a kind of procedure, standard way of doing this?
Thanks in advance,
Kind regards,
Freek
