Hello,

When I one of my reports with two pop up screens I get this error:

" An application error has occurred. Please contact your Administrator."

Unfortunately, I'm the administrator... :o anyways I was wondering if anyone could glean anything from this error dump.  The report may have been written using reportnet 7.1 , we use cognos 8 now.

What I do is I click the run report from cognos connect or report studio: on the second popup dialogue, when i click the information in (it's a list box) so i select and click finish. The report then crashes.

Any help would be appreciated, i've been scouring the offical site but haven't come up with much. I guess I don't quite know what I'm looking for.

Please give us a clue as to the design of the report and maybe there will be something to go on from that.  I don't recognize this error, personally.

is this also the error message that is generated in the cogserver.log?  did you try to break the report down query by query?
