Hey All,

We're attempted to enable Single-Sign On in our Cognos environment.  We're currently running Cognos on Windows.  Has anyone been able to configure Single Sign-On in a Cognos windows environment, without purchasing a 3rd party tool like MotioCAP or SAASPASS?

Thanks!
Mike

Of course ! Lot of people (including myself) have configured SSO in Cognos on a Windows platform. The instructions are in the installation guide. That being said, I don't know what kind of identity provider Shibboleth is. I have used Active Directory and Azure as the IPs.

Thanks for responding!

It's a SAML based Authentication provider that our University uses to secure many of our applications.  Unfortunately, Cognos doesn't directly support SAML authentication.  From what I've read, to get it to work you need to use the SDK to create your own Custom Java Authentication Provider.  Didn't know if anyone had success doing that with a SAML based Authentication provider, or found another method for doing so.
