Go! Office and Prompted reports

Using Cognos 8.3 we are downloading reports to Microsoft Word via GO! Office. The problem seems to be with reports that have prompts. A report view is created in Cognos Connection where the prompt is set, this report view is then brought into Word, a custom prompt in the Word Properties is set and linked to the report.  Now we would like to be able to change the prompt value from within the word document during a refresh data task.  According to the Cognos GO! Office manual the prompt should be part of the properties of the imported report (under the manage data tab). The prompt options are not present.  At this time a case is has been opened with Cognos but we have no resolution from them yet.  Anyone else importing prompted reports into word via GO! Office? And if so, have we missed a vital step?

Thanks.

I know this topic is old, but I'm having trouble using prompted reports in Go!Office 8.4.1

I have a report with a very simple prompt page. It shows well when I right click and show it in Go Office panel in MS Powerpoint.

But when I try to really import the report into office, the prompt(page) does not come up. Instead an error in internet explorer is shown. "Navigation to the webpage has been cancelled"

Any suggestions anyone?

Any resolution for this issue? Ant leads would be helpful.
