Active Reports Viewer

With IE sunsetting, does the new Active Report Viewer function with CA 11.1.7 generated Active Reports?
Or, is it only CA 11.2 specific?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

Caveat - I haven't actually tested this but here's what I understand. I believe it works with any active report output from any version of Cognos. It's basically an MHT reader, and all active reports render as MHT, whatever the underlying version of Cognos they were produced in.

That's my understanding too.
I have downloaded and tested and it works without problems on CA 11.0.13.

On an important side note, are there any IBM licensing concerns and/or costs?
It appears not (it seems I am able to simply download), but with IBM licensing is not always as clear as I would hope.

Hi,

I don't believe so. It's a free download from the IBM Community site, unlike the licensed products which are secured downloads on PA.
