Displaying the count of prompt selections in prompt page

Hi friends,

Can any one let me know if it is possible to display count of selections made in a prompt in the prompt page itself.

Requirement:  There is a select and search  prompt in the report.
If the user selects two values, then 2 should be displayed, if the user selects four values in the prompt, 4 should be displayed just above the prompt.

Please suggest.
